Every purchase helps keep the High Line thriving

Owned by the City of New York, the High Line is a public park programmed, maintained, and operated by Friends of the High Line, in partnership with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation. Friends of the High Line is a non-profit organization that raises nearly 100% of the High Line’s annual budget.

All the profit from the High Line Shop goes directly into the High Line’s annual budget. So every purchase you make helps keep the High Line free—and extraordinary—for everyone.

About the Collection

Wild in the 90s

Featuring the photography of Joel Sternfeld, our Wild in the 90s collection focuses on what the High Line looked like as an overgrown, abandoned railway. Before Friends of the High Line, this space was wild. For all those who were wild in the 90s (or who wish they had been!)
